SERGOMIL L60

It is a stable organic copper base molecular complex in the form of monogluconate and galacturonan. The organic ligand that complexes the cation Cu2+, is extracted from fruit pectin.

This molecular complex means that in solution Cu2+ does not exist, but rather CuGL, so that the Cu2+ can not crystallise as a simple copper salt. Being a molecular complex, it avoids copper salt crystallisation and, therefore, is absorbed by fertirrigation, through the semi-permeable leaf membrane and translocated by the sap.

The fact that copper is provided as an organic complex, is the technological difference introduced by SERVALESA, in opposition to the use of formulations based on copper sulphate or copper oxychloride, which are not coordination compounds (chelates) and, therefore, copper is found as a free Cu2+ cation with the consequent phytotoxicity for plant tissue
